====== Meeting notes from NOTACON 6, Cleveland, OH ======
4/18/09

Mitch is gone most of May. He gets back from Japan on 2/26 and is immediately tied up with the Maker Faire until 5/31, so he won't be available in SF until June.

Mitch likes Raphael's Twitchie project. We don't know anything about the PID project.

Joe Grand is open to porting his Simon game to the AVR, this would be a good project for the book. We need to set him up with WinAVR and the USBTinyISP.

We came up with a preliminary list and order of projects:

===== Projects: =====

  - Hello world (blinking LED) - Mitch
  - MiniPOV - Limor
  - RGB Light / Trippy RGB Lights (sidebar) - Mitch
  - TV-B-Gone - Mitch
  - Synchronizing Fireflies - Alex Weber
  - Accelerometer and LEDs - Windell
  - Twitchie - Raphael
  - Simon Game - Joe Grand
  - Arduino / Open Heart Project - Jeff / Elliot
  - Fuzebox - Limor

===== What we need from contributors: =====

  * Source code w/really good comments. Let them know we may edit their code for clarity. Have them groom their code upfront.
  * Photos - really good ones. Ask Bill about DPI. (Email sent 4/22 //[[jeff@mightyohm.com|Jeff Keyzer]] 2009/04/22 15:40//)
  * Schematics - some concern about legibility - Jeff to look into using inkscape etc. Windell is a pro at this. xcircuit?
  * BOM with suggested parts #s and vendors
  * Description. How project works in their words. Why is this cool? Inspiration - what led you to do this?
  * Bio/contributor page
    * Photo
    * Bio
